DAY 2 Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco Early in the morning, at 4:30 a.m., you will have the opportunity to go up to Machu Picchu to see the sunrise, and to begin your guided tour of the citadel of Machu Picchu. This tour will take between 90 minutes and two hours, after which you will be able to continue exploring the Inca citadel independently, before returning at around midday to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch (not included), before taking the return train to the village of Ollantaytambo, and a bus to Cusco.
