Itinerary DAY 1 Cusco – Calca – Lares – Huacawasi Pick up from your hotel at 4:30 am to start the journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Arrive in Lares for a relaxing dip in the thermal baths before enjoying lunch amidst the fertile valley. Pack your gear onto mules for the trek and head through picturesque villages to reach our first campsite at Huacawasi (3770 m). DAY 2 Huacawasi – Ipsaycocha – Patacancha Early breakfast and set off on a long day of trekking, ascending to the Ipsay Pass. Along the way, observe local farming communities, their vibrant clothing, and handwoven textiles. Enjoy lunch at a camp, then continue to Patacancha for the second night. DAY 3 Patacancha – Willoq – Ollantaytambo After breakfast, trek to the colorful village of Willoq, known for its traditional Andean customs. Pass through small communities practicing experiential tourism and explore archaeological sites like Qochapata and Pumamarca. Arrive in Ollantaytambo by noon, explore the ancient Inca village, and spend the night in a hostel with private bathroom and hot water. Dinner and briefing for the Machu Picchu visit follow. DAY 4 Machu Picchu – Cusco Begin the hike to Machu Picchu around 4:30 am. Meet your guide and group, with the option to walk up to see the sunrise or take the bus. Return to Aguas Calientes for the train ride to Ollantaytambo and then take a bus back to Cusco.
